I haven't read that much Stephen King either (other than a couple stories I loved and one that traumatized me in junior high), but I recently listened to him read his book "On Writing" (via Libby) and it was absolutely fascinating, funny, and amazing. I bought a copy the day I finished it so I can (hopefully) go back and highlight the stuff that really stood out to me. Have you read it?
I have! I should have noted that I am very much a fan of that book — just haven’t read many others! I saw Pet Semetary far too young and was thus scarred 😖
Oh dang. My experience with “Pet Semetary” was sneaking it off the shelf at my aunt’s house and finding the worst, most horrible passages to read. They have NEVER left me so I suppose that’s a nod to King’s prowess. I can imagine the movie is even more horrifying.
what a month! puck would be an amazing role - i hope it was every but as delightful (and mischievous) as it seems! wishing you rest and brightspots as you recover your voice. also, do you like Aurora? she did a cross-over with Jacob for one of her well-loved tunes, and it feels all sorts of delightfully ambient!
right? the cross over is so good! also, do you have Cody Fry on your list? I literally just thought of this, but he has a beautiful cover of Fix You that might appeal!
i am so glad V loved the part and is also feeling so inspired by theater! that's amazing! :)
ooof. hoping for tea (and clear nasal passages!) for you - some years are just *extra* not fun for allergies!
I feel this post down to my toes.

Thank you for sharing Kristine. I know it's been a tough month and season for you. Hang in there! May is here!!
It is, it is! We've made it!!

I actually discovered her WHILE on a Jacob rabbit hole! I watched their performance on the ice block. Unreal!
V did so well with the part and has been entirely bitten by the theater bug. It’s thrilling!
We’re getting a fresh wave of pollen right now which is proving somewhat of a challenge to me, but I know this too shall pass!

I've heard the name but have never listened! Going to now!!
I hope May is a little less intense, Kristine, with lots of calm and peace for you.❤️
