I've always thought that it would be amazing to be able to write poems as easily as it seems to come to you and as it used to come to dad. It's an amazing skill that I've never felt like I knew where to start exactly.

We should have some poetry writing sessions one of our weekend morning walks/breakfasts!

That's a great idea!

Been thinking recently about how all we can do is try, with starting something new :).

I used to struggle with the expectation that I’d get it right and perfect to start… so trying (and struggling, failing, trying again) is something that took me a long time to be okay with. And even still, I sometimes forget!

I am going to get my girls a magnetic tile set for the fridge. Thanks for the inspiration!

Kristine! i love your updated logo. :) and why have i never thought of using Nanowrimo for poems? that is brilliant. also would love to hear what you did with the Kraken on that CA postage! what a wild topic!

Thank you! I had fun working on it last week!

I think if you click the Kraken link in my post, it should take you directly to the poem! The postage stamp that inspired it was this one: https://www.stampsandcanada.com/stamps-prices-canada-stamp.php?postage=the-kraken&denomination=39-cents&stamp=1218&cat=1

Oh brilliant! Thank you for sharing the poems you're currently reading!

And, of course, for the perfect poem to accompany this piece!
