I loved this. Funny and smart and so true. I feel the same— I want the big thing but it’s the small bits of change that make up most of life.

I just need to keep remembering in the moment! Maybe you can help me with that!

thanks for this one, Kristine! i couldn't help but laugh a little at the seething - May is a tender month for me too and everything that gets stuffed down tends to boil upwards. but this reminder of good happening in increments? pure gold. i might be looking for dimes to shed this week.

Thank YOU, Civil! I’m sorry it’s tender for you too, but we can hold space for each other!

I’ve been enjoying asking myself “and what coin would this be?”

Made me laugh due to similar feelings 🤣Thanks for such honesty. I’m glad you got that out of your system. What would happen if you carried a smaller purse?

Hi Wren! I'm so glad you're here! You're gonna laugh even more when you hear the purse I was cleaning was a belt bag about the size of a 5x7 photograph and only a few inches thick. My wallet only just barely fits into it! It's astonishing what I manage to stash in there that just needs to GO!

Yes-that sense of accomplishment may be in the smallest act. Thanks for your transparency and your wise words.

I'm a little late to this, probably because I have been caught in my own May vortex. But gosh, this is brilliant. I love how you capture that ragey state that builds when I feel like there are more interruptions than work getting done. Thanks for the reminder that showing up matters, even if it's less than usual.
