Thanks for sharing. It's hard to cut the tethers to our digital devices and things that keep our attention. I never fully realized how hooked I was until I started thinking through how to cut things out last month. It's shocking how intertwined it's all become in my day to day.
It’s in everywhere and everything, all these places we jokingly ask each other “what kind of accommodations can you make for someone without a smartphone?” Even without social media, the pull is strong!

I too scroll down to that size 4 font and click, yes, yes I'm sure, no really, I'm totally sure, quite often these days. Where do they even come from, some of these? GAH. Some of these companies I’m unsubscribing from (AGAIN) I literally don’t think I’ve ever purchased a thing from nor have ever been interested in purchasing from. Like... I don’t think I consented to this! Ugh.

I too stopped unroll.me when I realized it was simply bypassing and not really unsubscribing. Freeing as hell isn’t it?
I can’t believe I let myself be duped for so long! I’ll feel free once I’m finally done with all the manual unsubscribing!
