Awe, Kristine. Beautiful in all the ways that have ever mattered to me. Deeply within, richly embracing, jagged yet green. I read this one more like a poem. I am super excited about your journey and what awaits on the other side of your hope: the final evidence of what now is not seen but seethes in all you do. grief has way of really exposing us to polar ends of the spectrum. Pallor and poignancy...yes. that is devastatingly beautiful. <3 there's this quote by Ursula K. Le Guin that I like, "'Love doesn't just sit there, like a stone, it has to be made, like bread; remade all the time, made new.' your weave through these close griefs reminds me so much of this, and also of the incredible force of love that lies under it all.
