I’m so proud of you regaining vision a pushing past Uveitis! Even when you were dealing with that situation, you still pushed through and continued with your book. I was so lucky to visit New York with you and get to have that experience! ❤️🗽
What an incredible challenge to face as a person and writer. No wonder you write in a way that reads delicately aware of all the levels at play in vision, finely layered, careful (and I should say, care-filled). I’ve always wondered over the fear of losing my vision. I recall Milton’s poem, When I Consider How My Light was Spent. Our vision to see and envision is so important, a gift. You are a fighter, Kristine, and you truly adore writing, story-telling, sharing your light. Thank you.
Thank you C.I., for your generous words and for sharing that Milton poem with me. I'd never read it before, and I am so moved. "They also serve who only stand and wait."
Your writing has taken on such a melodic tone, my friend. I know we’ve both been searching for that space to let the words flow, and this place here, has opened her arms wide and brought you in for a warm hug. I am not sure I could love it more.
Thank you, Angie! She has opened her arms wide and I feel so... myself. Like I can sing and hum to my heart's content, hopefully helping others find their own melody in the process. Of whatever it is they're called to do and to be, even to create. It's such a wonderful feeling.

I'm proud of you for pushing through the set back of having your vision impacted for so long. You didn't give up!
You were there to hold me up when I felt like I couldn't do it anymore!

Kristine-I had no idea. I'm so thankful your vision has been restored and you haven't let go of your call to write. You are such a blessing. Hugs!
Thank you, Penny! You are a blessing, too! So grateful to know you and to have you here!
